We are conservationists, scientists, planners, lawyers, communicators and businesspeople. We have come to care about land conservation from a variety of backgrounds: urban and rural, conservative and progressive. And we enthusiastically embrace the protection of land as our driving passion, our uniting element, our future.
Rich is a nationally recognized conservationist who had been Chagrin River Land Conservancy’s only executive director for 10 years when CRLC and seven other northern Ohio land trusts merged to form Western Reserve Land Conservancy (the Land Conservancy) in 2006. At that time, he was appointed president and chief executive officer of the Land Conservancy.
