Chris Szell oversees a team of project managers to ensure that the organizations land acquisition projects are completed on time and within budget. During his tenure with the organization, he has been instrumental in project management, writing and administering a number of various state and federal grants, stewardship, and developing team processes.
Chris has been with the Land Conservancy for 13 years. Chris previously worked with The Nature Conservancy as a fire ecologist for the Southern Regional Office located in Durham, North Carolina. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Biology from the University of Southern Mississippi and served two years in the U.S. Peace Corps in Swaziland.
