Sam Farabaugh brings an exciting energy to the growing carbon credit market as the Carbon Credit Specialist at Western Reserve Land Conservancy. Sam contributes to the increasingly significant carbon credit program at the Land Conservancy, ensuring that protected properties have the means to be monitored and conserved in perpetuity.
A career in conservation, along with providing landowners and buyers the means to help protect our climate, is the perfect combination of Sam’s personal experience and professional passion. Prior to joining Western Reserve Land Conservancy, Sam worked for the Sustainability Office at Bowling Green State University as well as their Leadership office. In these roles, Sam engaged with students and led discussions and events to increase environmental awareness around campus. Sam holds a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Policy and Analysis from Bowling Green State University and a Master’s degree in Leadership for Sustainability from Malmo University in Sweden.
Sam lives in Fairview Park, OH with her sister and regularly visits family in other parts of the state. When she isn’t traveling, she also loves running, hiking, painting, and spending time with her friends.
