Julie Visconsi was born in South Bend, Indiana and lived in both Syracuse and Buffalo New York before her family settled on the west side of Cleveland in 1990. A graduate from Cleveland State University, Julie holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology. She has always enjoyed working with children, particularly emotionally disturbed adolescents and at-risk youth.
As long as she can remember, Julie has been a lover of the outdoors and found it a vital part of connecting with the children whom she has worked with over the last few decades. Julie particularly enjoys hiking, cycling, cross country & downhill skiing, boating, swimming, and gardening. After living in Cleveland Heights for 6 years, Julie has found an even deeper appreciation for Greater Cleveland’s diverse landscape since building a house in Hunting Valley with her husband, Dominic. The two enjoy spending as much time as possible with their 5 year old daughter, Olivia, and 8 year old Labradoodle.
Julie has had experience fundraising with various organizations including Care Alliance Health Center and the Huntington’s Disease Society Northeast Ohio Chapter. She is passionate about supporting Western Reserve Land Conservancy and involving more of our community in this vital organization.
