Brooke Hice

Born and raised in Southern Ohio, it wasn’t until after Brooke graduated Davidson College (B.A. in Political Science) in 1997 that she moved to Cleveland to attend law school at Case Western University. She has remained a Northeast Ohio resident ever since. Brooke worked six years as an associate with the Cleveland law firm Duvin, Cahn and Hutton, and then took on the role of General Counsel for Dayton Heidelberg Distributing Co., a wholesale alcoholic beverage distributor with +1500 employees in nine locations throughout Ohio and Kentucky, working out of its distribution center in Independence, OH.  In her role as General Counsel, Brooke was responsible for handling all corporate, regulatory, labor and employment matters for Heidelberg. She served on the Board of Directors, Senior Executive Committee and Strategic Planning Leadership Committee for Heidelberg, and helped facilitate the transition to a new leadership team after Heidelberg was sold to Redwood Holdings in 2021. After a 20-year tenure, Brooke retired from her role as General Counsel in July 2023.

Brooke has served as a Trails Forever Legacy Leadership Committee Member for The Conservancy, Cuyahoga Valley National Park Association; and as an inaugural Committee Member for its Topography Event.  Brooke is a former member of many bar, legal, and other professional associations, including the Wine and Spirits Wholesalers of America, and Ohio’s Wholesale Beer and Wine Association, where she served on the Rules Committee.

Brooke currently resides in Chesterland, with her husband, Sean, and their two sons, Rocco and Mason.
