Sarah Blakely is the Grants Manager at Western Reserve Land Conservancy. Having started her career in the private sector, Sarah brings a unique perspective to her role and the organization. Prior to joining the Land Conservancy in 2021, Sarah worked as an account manager in the health insurance and software sectors. Her experience building relationships with clients and partners and problem solving to improve outcomes has translated well to her work in conservation.
Sarah holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Huntington University and a master’s degree in Wellness Management from Ball State University. She is an Ohio Certified Volunteer Naturalist and volunteers with Cuyahoga Valley National Park and the Akron Marathon.
Sarah lives in Fairlawn with her husband Ross and their dog Wallace. In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, and being out on the local trails.
