Megan Quinn works with individual donors, foundations, and corporations to advance the mission of the Land Conservancy while fulfilling their philanthropic interests and willingness to give their time, talent, and treasure. Megan also leads the events team to plan and execute a variety of experiences on an annual basis. She enjoys connecting people to nature and finds gratification in the way conservation brings people together.
Starting her career selling wine for local distributorships, Megan felt something lacking in her job satisfaction leading her to a career in fundraising. She previously worked for the American Heart Association and MetroHealth. While at the Heart Association, she was part of a team that was the first to raise over $1M for the annual Cleveland Heartwalk. At MetroHealth, she worked with a variety of altruistic donors interested in helping those in need. The Land Conservancy allows her to bring her personal interests and appreciation for the outdoors to work every day. She enjoys building meaningful relationships with donors, trustees, and colleagues. Megan also enjoys stewarding donors and continuing to engage them in the mission. The Land Conservancy hosts over 50 events in a year each one being unique and special. Megan has a knack for keeping the guest experience top of mind in assisting in the planning of each of these events. She is passionate about fundraising for the Land Conservancy and working to make the community a better place.
Megan holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Management with a minor in Marketing from the University of Dayton. Megan grew up in Columbus, Ohio, and has called Cleveland home for over 20 years.
Megan lives in Waite Hill, OH with her husband, Mike, her sons Michael and John, and her dog, Mavis. They enjoy spending time as a family watching and playing sports, golfing, swimming and traveling.
