Cori Rockefeller

Community Relations Coordinator

Cori Rockefeller brings her passion for community engagement to her role as Community Relations Coordinator with Western Reserve Land Conservancy. With a focus on fostering meaningful connections, Cori is responsible for the development, planning, and implementation of events that engage donors, landowners, partners, and volunteers. She strives to provide a positive experience for all stakeholders at Land Conservancy events.

Cori’s career with the Land Conservancy began as a Tree Care Technician, where she played a key role in the Reforest Our City program, contributing to the planting and maintenance of trees across Cleveland. Prior to joining the Land Conservancy, Cori was with ECO AmeriCorps, where she planned professional development and service opportunities, led DEIJ initiatives, provided member support, and managed program communications.

Developing a strong interest in environmental stewardship during her college years led Cori to pursue volunteer and professional opportunities in that field. These opportunities have allowed her to bring diverse skills and experience to her role at the Land Conservancy with a background in forestry, climate activism, program development, community engagement, communications, and DEIJ work.

Cori holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Studies and Sustainability from Slippery Rock University. She has earned certifications in Sustainability, Tree Stewardship, and Elevating the Voices of Impacted Communities through Effective Community Engagement Strategies.

Cori resides in Lakewood, OH with her partner Barrett and their rascal of a tabby, Bernie. In her free time, she enjoys gardening in her community plot, slow birding, taking scenic adventures, finding a good trivia night, and getting a sweet treat at Mitchell’s Ice Cream.
