Anna has enthusiasm and passion for helping the environment, especially in Cleveland’s urban neighborhoods that lack environmental justice. As Tree Care Coordinator, her organization and leadership skills help her supervise seasonal staff while working to rebuild Cleveland’s urban tree canopy.
Before this position, Anna had previously worked at the Land Conservancy as a Tree Care Intern and as Tree Care Lead Technician. Her love for the trees and the care put into them by the Reforest Our City program is what brought her back. She also had an internship at Cuyahoga County Board of Health as a Water Quality Intern and had worked at the West Side Market as a crepe maker and barista. Anna is a graduate from Cleveland State University with a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies. She is working to complete her undergraduate GIS certificate from there as well and plans to get her arborist certification when she’s qualified.
Anna lives in Broadview Heights with her polydactyl cat, Jax. In her free time, she loves to go thrifting, do crafts, work on her crochet skills, and spend time with her partner, Caleb.
