Adrian Marti

Urban Field Specialist

Adrian believes in the power of natural spaces to create connection in communities.  His goal is to support cities’ efforts to build resiliency in the face of climate change. Through his work at the Western Reserve Land Conservancy, he hopes to achieve these goals through supporting data-driven public policy and community stewardship of Cleveland’s urban tree canopy.

Adrian’s career has led him to work in an array of fields, including Urban Analytics, Landscape Architecture, Design-Build, and research and development of sustainable building materials. Past and current projects include the successful management and completion of the Land Conservancy’s Property Inventory survey work for numerous communities across the state, lead tree care technician with the Land Conservancy’s Reforest our City program, and park maintenance at the Cleveland Metroparks Bedford Reservation.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Geography from DePaul University and studied at Kent State University’s Masters of Landscape Architecture program based at the Cleveland Urban Design Collaborative. His research focused on urban ecology, participatory planning, and geospatial analysis.

Adrian lives in Parma, OH, and loves reading, listening to music, and biking throughout Cleveland’s incredible network of regional bike paths. He is a proud member of the Pierogi team at Jukebox, in Cleveland’s Ohio City neighborhood.
