The property contains high-quality old woods filled with black oak, swamp white oak, red maple, and a variety of hickories that provide critical habitat for endangered and threatened bat species. In addition, there are four Category 3 wetlands on the property brimming with native plant species. In general, the property has little sign of human disturbance, which makes it all the more exciting and important to preserve in perpetuity.
