Presenter: Dr. Katie Stuble, Scientist at Holden Forests & Gardens
FREE
Join us virtually for the presentation Working the Woods: Science at the Intersection of Practice with Dr. Katie Stuble of Holden Forests & Gardens. Scientific research and the application of land management have historically been separate endeavors but are becoming increasingly intertwined. Scientists embedded within conservation-oriented nonprofits have the unique opportunity to work side-by-side with conservation practitioners and land managers, informing research as well as practice. Here we’ll explore how close collaboration between these groups can enhance our understanding of the natural world, as well as how we can protect it.
