Join us virtually for a Zoom into Nature tree identification session with Lizzie Sords, the Land Conservancy’s Manager of Urban Forestry Programs and Erica Henrichsen, our NOWCorps Community Forestry Specialist. At Foundations of Tree Identification, you’ll learn the basics of tree ID and common plant terminology so that you can start to identify the trees in your neighborhood! We will go over the foundations of plant identification, nomenclature, recommended field guides, and the identification of trees commonly found in Northeast Ohio. This webinar will set you up to continue to learn and practice tree ID on your own as our trees begin to leaf out and bloom.
