Hawk’s Meadow Preserve
Leaders: Judy Semroc, Naturalist and Field Biologist and Renee Boronka, Director of Conservation Education
Is spring around the corner, or will we endure 6 more weeks of winter? Join us for our mid-winter tradition as we explore nature for signs of life at the 76-acre Hawk’s Meadow located near Milan in Huron County. Protected with a conservation easement since 2013, Hawk’s Meadow contains a mature hardwood forest with steep ravines, forested wetlands and Rattlesnake Creek, a tributary to the Huron River. The property has trails, but you can expect a slightly strenuous walk.
A special thank you to Ohio Real Title for sponsoring our Vibrant Places hike series.
