Forest Ridge Preserve – Conservation Center of Western Reserve Land Conservancy
Leader: Judy Semroc, Field Biologist and Renee Boronka, Director of Education & Outreach
Residents of Moreland Hills are invited to spend an evening at Forest Ridge exploring the diversity of moths with Naturalist Judy Semroc. We’ll set up different monitoring stations at the edge of the forest using a variety of lights with different wavelengths. Participants can wander about the different light stations, learning about the moths that are attracted to the lights. Prior to sunset, we’ll have a brief session on the natural history of moths and take a short walk at Forest Ridge. Flashlights are a must for this nighttime event!
Advanced registration is required.
