Hosts: The Belew Family: Bill & Dee and Billy & Amy, Owners of Messenger Century Farm
Join us at Messenger Century Farm for a sugary sweet Sunday afternoon. Ever wonder how the sap from maple trees turns into liquid gold? We’ll learn all about the maple syrup process. Plan for a 1-mile round trip walk as we visit the tapped trees in the sugarbush and follow the sap as it travels through tubes back to the sugarhouse for boiling and processing. Participants will have opportunities to sample the many ways you can use maple syrup in the kitchen with a variety of savor and sweet maple-inspired treats.
