Join the Ohio Mushroom Society for a mini-foray at Starre’s Acres in Medina County. We will hike along the preserve’s sandstone ledges and beautiful stream in search of fungi. Starre’s Acres contains a rich forest and lovely outcrops which should provide excellent habitat for a diverse assemblage of species. Our experts will end the day with detailed information about what we have gathered.
Starre’s Acres is a privately owned, 32-acre property in Medina that is permanently protected by a conservation easement with Western Reserve Land Conservancy.
Advanced registration is required.
