Schedule of events:
7:30 AM – 8:00 AM Arrival before first ferry departure at 8 AM
8:30 AM – 10:00 AM – Bird Banding with Master Bird Bander Tom Bartlett
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Visits to various natural areas on Kelley’s Island
12:00 PM – 2:00 PM – Lunch and panel discussion
For those traveling to the Island on Sunday, the first ferry will leave from Marblehead at 8:00 AM. No need to bring your car, we will transport you via golf cart for the day’s activities.
If you’d prefer to travel to the Island the day before, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Kelleys Island Venture Resort. If you would like to reserve a room, please reach out to Renee Boronka and Stella Dilik. Staff will be on the island beginning Saturday, May 18 and will plan a dinner for those staying on the island Saturday evening.
