Join staff from the Geauga Park District and Western Reserve Land Conservancy for a strenuous off-trail early autumn hike that will feature a spectacular view across the Chagrin Valley. During this field trip we’ll visit the Mayer Preserve, discovering wildlife and exploring its habitat. Plan to hike over rugged terrain including hills, ravines, obstacles like logs, stream crossings and other challenges. The program will be held rain or shine, so dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes that can provide traction but can get wet and muddy. Note: Hike is very strenuous.
