Pat is President of Personal Lines at Progressive, leading the company’s $70B+ auto, recreational lines, and property businesses for more than a decade. Pat’s group leads all aspects of product design, state regulatory/legislative work, and distribution of Progressive’s products through 40,000+ agencies and a $4 billion+ direct to consumer marketing budget. Prior to Progressive, he worked in consumer products and started a venture backed auto parts distributor.
Pat grew up in northwest Connecticut, building a passion for outdoor recreation, community service, and fixing things through a variety of jobs and the scouting program. He serves as a director on several of Progressive’s operating subsidiaries, is a director and executive committee member for APCIA, the leading insurance industry trade, and recently joined the board of Notre Dame Schools.
Pat holds an MBA from Northwestern and a mechanical engineering degree from Lafayette College. Pat and his wife, Lisa, have two adult children and split their time between Roaming Shores and St Petersburg, Florida.
