Field Exploration: Mushrooms

Sunday, October 5 from 1 pm – 3:30 pm
Szunyog Preserve (Medina County)

Leaders: Ohio Mushroom Society and Renee Boronka, Director of Education & Outreach

Join members of the Ohio Mushroom Society for a fall mushroom outing. We’ll explore the 94-acre Syunyog Preserve, protected by a conservation easement with the Land Conservancy. Our search will take us through a mature upland forest, its rolling terrain cut by ravines that shelter creeks and wetlands, creating rich habitat for mushrooms. The day will conclude with our experts sharing insights into the species we’ve discovered.

Advanced registration is required.
