Field Exploration: Lichens

Did you know there are over 700 identified species of Lichen in Ohio? Join us at Lantern Court at Red Oak Camp for a fascinating program on the history and biology of lichen. This program combines an indoor lecture with short outdoor walk to learn identification skills, ecological roles, and the symbiotic relationship that powers lichen.
About Eddie Lagucki
Eddie is the Horticulture Director of Lantern Court Estate at Red Oak Camp. He is a Board Certified Master Arborist and has a Master’s degree in Conservation from Colorado State University. Eddie is a curious environmental educator who believes that you’re never too old to learn something new about our shared ecological community.
