SESSION 4: Composition Tips for Wilder Gardens
Wednesday, February 12, 2025
1:00 to 2:00 PM ET

Composition Tips for Wilder Gardens
Preston Montague, Landscape Architect

Spontaneous generation has long since been disproven. The ‘random’ goldenrod that appeared in your yard is the result of a complicated math equation that started with the Big Bang. Visualizing this equation and creating a sense of ordinary randomness is a one of a handful of aspirations we have for our wilder gardens. Preston will share composition ideas that he uses in his design practice to give plantings an organized, but wilder feel.
