Field Exploration: Moths

July 9, 2021 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Join Naturalist Judy Semroc for a nighttime moth lighting event at the Western Reserve Land Conservancy’s Sugar Island Preserve. Moths that fly at night are settled down, out of sight, during the day. The new moon will provide dark skies to aid in our moth numbers, as well as excellent star gazing opportunities. In addition, many other insect creatures of the night could stop by for a visit to the lights. Sugar Island is one of the Land Conservancy’s Signature Preserves, protecting over 1,100 acres of diverse habitat.

Advanced registration is required.

All Land Conservancy events respect CDC guidelines and social distancing.
